Some things never get old

Some things never get old, no matter how often you experience them.

Since I write erotic romance, you might expect me to put sex first on this list, but I'd put love first. Finding out someone loves you never gets old. For that matter, falling in love and sharing love never gets old either.

Okay, so I'll put sex second on the list. Sex never gets old. It was popular before there was TV, and it will be popular when TV is a vague memory and some other form of entertainment has replaced it (or when we've screwed up our civilization and thrown humanity back into the dark ages, heavens forbid.)

Third on the list is food. Of course, food is necessary for survival so how can it get old, but for pure pleasure plus survival, who can beat a delicous bowl of ice cream?

Authors have a special item on the "never gets old" list, and that's seeing their book in print. I'll always remember holding my first book in my hands, but the thrill was just as great today when my paperback copies of Starbound arrived. Gosh, they were gorgeous, and the smile on my face was huge.
